"A federal cry": Five governors presented a front to compete in the legislative elections.

In a joint statement, the governors of Chubut, Córdoba, Jujuy, Santa Cruz, and Santa Fe announced that they will compete jointly in the October legislative elections . The provinces ' goal would be to "represent the working-class Argentina" and "add a federal perspective to Parliament."

In a text titled "A Federal Cry," Ignacio Torres , governor of Chubut; Maximiliano Pullaro , governor of Santa Fe; Carlos Sadir , governor of Jujuy; Claudio Vidal , governor of Santa Cruz; and Martín Llaryora , governor of Córdoba; argued that they have "the enormous responsibility of defending the interests of their provinces and, at the same time, contributing to the governability of Argentina."

" All of us, the national government and our provincial governments, have made the necessary adjustments to achieve the fiscal balance essential for the nation and the provinces to advance the changes we needed to achieve sustainability ," they stated.

In this regard, the provincial leaders claimed to represent the " productive interior" and called on the nation to reactivate public works to boost development in the region. "The efforts of all Argentines are non-negotiable, as is our commitment to ensuring that these advances include the essential infrastructure projects needed to develop our provinces, the only path to developing the country," they emphasized.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to "care for people and grow in harmony and equality for all 47 million Argentinians" and announced their intention to run jointly in the national legislative elections. " Our vision is that of those who care for every peso, produce, invest, and defend the Argentina of work every day . A vision focused on the future, with the determination to take charge of the present and definitively leave behind the past that divided us and held back our development," they emphasized.

"We want a thriving, fair, and secure Argentina; a country free from violence and unnecessary divisions, where we can live in peace, work with dignity, and dream without limits," they added, concluding: " Our mission is clear: to build the Argentina of everyone's dreams every day ."
